CORPORATE PLANNING MANAGER
(GLOBAL MNC)
Responsibilities:
- Assist
in developing longer term strategic business plans for company and
managing projects for new business & venture development through
providing advices in business and operational model blueprinting,
financial and risk assessment, partnership management and schedule
management.
- Oversee
active research and provide ‘go / no go’ recommendations to the
corporate management team and other stakeholders regarding development
of capability business cases and new ventures.
- Set,
monitor and continuously improve the progress and performance levels of
the new business venture against performance objectives, targets and
timeframes, and report status to the management team.
- Assist
in developing achievable strategic business and technical solutions to
support the timely development and delivery of new capabilities and the
achievement of strategic objectives, and liaise with the other operating
units in new operation model development.
- Assist
in the ongoing development and alignment of financial, administration,
human, and legal & regulatory frameworks servicing the whole organisation in order to support the delivery of
company’s business and corporate planning strategy.
- Oversee
the development, deployment and program/project management of delivery
plans.
- Drive
the budgeting and quarterly forecasting for company.
- Analyze
the variance between actual performance and budget to identify adverse
trends and discuss on plans to
return.
- Oversee
the group treasury function and to recommend yields on the surplus funds
in accordance with “risk appetite” set by the board.
- Recommend
the optimal financing structure to support merger & acquisition
activities.
Requirements:
- Degree or Master degree
in Business Management/Information
Systems/Finance or MBA holder.
- 6-8 years experience of strategy and business
blueprint development/management in the consulting industry and / or
related industries.
- Proven
ability to lead, coordinate and influence a diverse senior management
team and other senior key stakeholders to drive the identification,
development and delivery of business and organisational
strategic outcomes.
- Good
market/customer focus and ability to assess opportunities against
market/customer requirements.
- Good
business and technical skills and acumen with solid experience in
solution definition, business case development, financial analysis,
strategic architecture alignment and project & performance
management.
- Good
general management, leadership, problem solving and decision making
skills.
- Good
organizational, creative,
self-starter, team player with an entrepreneurial and innovative
mindset.
